Introduction Of Khaled Hosseini 

Khaled Hosseini is an Afghan American novelist, and he was known as a goodwill ambassador and former physician. He is a famous writer of the Afghan- AMERICA and writes notable fiction. He was born in Abul, Afghanistan, and in 1980, he was relocated to the U.S. In 1976, he moved to Paris with his family because his father obtained a job in Paris. 

He Is known for his best-selling novels “The Kite Runner” and “A Thousand Splendid Suns.” His novel was successful in the critical and commercial field. His novels are related to Afghanistan and present an Afghan as the protagonist. Here, Khaled explained about the people of Afghanistan and their culture as well. 

Hosseini’s Early Life And Education 

Hosseini belonged to Kabul, Afghanistan, and he spent his time in Iran and France. His date of birth is 4 March 1965, and he is the eldest of his family. His father’s name was Nasser, and he worked as a diplomate in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He applied to stay in the United States when Hosseini was 15 years old, and he became a citizen of this country. He did not go to Afghanistan till 2003, and he felt the guilt for having been able to former to the soviet invasion and consequent wars.   

After completing his graduation Hosseini started his job in California as a physician. In 1984, he graduated from Independence High School in San Jose, and he enrolled at Santa Clara University; in 1988, he received a bachelor’s degree in biology. He completed his M.D. in 1993 from the University of California, San Diego School Of Medicine.

At present, Hosseini lives in California, and he is married to the ROYA. He has two kids. He is very familiar with pasto and Persian. He explained here about himself that he is a secular Muslim, and he announced via social media that his child is transgender.

He wrote for Novels: 

Hosseini Khaled published his first novel, “The Kite Runner,” in 2003. This novel is related to a young boy named of the is Amir. He was struggling in this novel to make a connection with his father and memories of his traumatic childhood event. 

According to the Nielsen BookScan, this novel was very popular in the United States in 2005, and most of the selling novels as well. The Kite Runner also was prepared in audiobook by the author. 

This novel was also adapted into a film of the same name as the novel name is “The Kite Runner”. Hosseinin played a role in the film for a few minutes. The scene was AMIR buying a kite flown with Sohrab.   

Hosseini’s second novel was published by the name of “A Thousand Splendid Suns” in 2007. This was based on Afghanistan. This novel addresses many issues of Khaled’s first book. This story is about the two women, Mariam & Laila. This novel was published on 22 May 2007 with a Simon and Schuster audiobook. 

His third novel was published on 21 May 2013; the name of this novel is “And The Mountain Echoed.” 

Working As A Goodwill Envoy: 

Apart from all, Hosseini is working United Nations as a goodwill envoy. He is working to give the service for humanitarian assistance through Khaled Hosseini’s foundation.
